stfuconservatives:

Mike Beard, a Republican state representative from Minnesota, recently argued that coal mining should resume in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, in part because he believes God has created an earth that will provide unlimited natural resources.

“God is not capricious. He’s given us a creation that is dynamically stable,” Beard told MinnPost. “We are not going to run out of anything.”

—-

Meanwhile, God is up in Heaven yelling, “I only gave you those coal deposits to tide you over until you realized you could make energy from the sun and the wind! Stop it! Just stop it!”

OMG… all of my state’s Representatives are slowly being taken over by batshit insane people.  WTF Minnesotans?  I’m just waiting for the day when the Rep. from my district makes a statement like this, or shows himself to be like Bachmann.  And then I really will cry because I voted by absentee ballot - for the other guy.
